BLF represents Ten of the Forty Licensed Insurance Companies in Lebanon, presenting 25% of the Insurance Industry related to Regulatory or Litigation Matters, and covers about 80% of the Insurance Recovery (Subrogation) in this Insurance Market.

Our Team regularly counsels domestic and foreign Clients and their operating subsidiaries, affiliates, and holding companies on domestic activities and relationships. We have advised most of the Insurance Companies in Lebanon, some of the ACAL’s Board members (Association des Compagnies d ’Assurances au Liban) on specific complex matters, especially for the COVID-19 pandemic issues, the LPA’s Board of Directors (Lebanese Petroleum Administration) on the Insurance Laws and Regulations and their implementation vis-à-vis the Petroleum Law (OPRL), the PAR, and the EPAs (Lecture attached), and advised TotalEnergies-Liban on the Lebanese Offshore Insurance Laws and Regulations, the operation of Foreign Captive Insurance Companies, and the implementation of Foreign Insurance Policies.
