Sponsoring the Lebanon International Oil & Gas Summit (FIFTH EDITION)

The 5th Lebanon International Oil and Gas Summit (LIOG 2019) took place, under the Patronage of the Minister of Energy and Water - Her Excellency Nada Bustani, at the Hilton Habtoor Grand Hotel Beirut on April 2 to 4, 2019, with record participation, insightful discussions and valuable recommendations. The summit covered the industry and market update showcasing potentials and recent achievements, along with the latest on Lebanon's first licensing round, and the prospects for future bid rounds in the light of the legal, financial and technical frameworks.

In addition to the nine sessions during the first two days, a third technical day included a couple of plenary sessions with an emphasis on digitalization within the oil and gas sector as well as the latest in exploration and production technologies.

Participants included administrators from the public and private sectors, representing over 200 local and international companies and organizations, with foreign participation exceeding 50 percent.

The summit welcomed 48 speakers, who shared their valuable insight on different strategic and technical topics, distributed over nine sessions in the 2-day strategic part of the conference and five sessions and workshops on the technical third day.
